How to refer
If you're a GP
Connect Us Psychology welcomes referrals under the Medicare Better Access to Mental Health Care Plan.
If you are a GP in the Northern Rivers area, your patients can get focused psychological strategies Medicare rebate sessions under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Plan, which is currently 10 sessions per calendar year. Please click here for more information on Medicare items.

If you're a client
If you are a client there are three main ways you can see a psychologist at Connect Us Psychology.
You can see your GP and get a mental health care plan which gives you a rebate of $96.65 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Once you have a care plan please contact us at [email protected] to schedule your initial appointment.
You can use your Private Health Cover to receive a rebate on sessions. The amount you receive will depend on the level of cover you have. It is recommended you ask your Health Cover provider for further information.
You can self-refer as a private client. This means you pay full fee and are not eligible for any rebates.
How to get a mental health care plan:
Contact your GP and schedule an extended appointment to obtain a mental health care plan. Ask your GP to address the referral to:
