Introducing

The Building Your Neurodivergent Identity Group Program

For the last few years I've been refining this program through real groups with Neurodivergent folk across the lifespan.

Every session.

Every activity.

Every discussion prompt.

Every workbook page.

Every tweak came from listening to Neurodivergent folk tell me what actually helped them better understand themselves.

Now I'm sharing the entire program with other professionals so more Neurodivergent people have access to safe, neurodiversity-affirming groups.

What You'll Actually Be Facilitating:

Building Your Neurodivergent Identity is a structured 6-module program for Autistic and ADHD folk across the lifespan.

Across the program, participants explore:

01 — Understanding Your Neurodivergent Identity
Making sense of Autism, ADHD, AuDHD, PDA, strengths, challenges and their own ND identity.

02 — Emotions, Energy & Burnout
Understanding regulation, capacity, energy needs and Autistic burnout.

03 — Masking, Unmasking & Authenticity
Exploring masking, its impact, safety, authenticity and what unmasking can look like for them.

04 — Communication, Self-Advocacy & Boundaries
Understanding ND communication, identifying needs, asking for accommodations and building self-advocacy skills.

05 — Relationships, Empathy & Community
Exploring connection, family, friendships, empathy, belonging and finding your people.

06 — Sensory Needs, Self-Care & Joy
Understanding sensory profiles, supporting individual needs, reconnecting with joy and building a life that fits.

This isn’t six lectures about Autism and ADHD. Participants learn through guided discussion, practical activities, reflection, visual tools and resources designed to help them apply what they’re learning to their own lives.

The goal? To move from “I know I’m Neurodivergent” towards “I understand myself, my needs, and how to build a life that works for my brain.”

Why this program works?

This program was developed by Autistic ADHDer psychologist Chelsea Luker through real-world work with Neurodivergent folk across the lifespan.

This program isn't designed to teach Neurodivergent folk how to fit into the world.

It's designed to help them better understand themselves.

Everything inside is grounded in neurodiversity-affirming practice, current research, lived experience and years of facilitating these conversations.

Participants don't leave with a list of strategies.

They leave with a different relationship to themselves.

What past facilitators are saying

“Your energy and generosity shine through – it makes the whole training feel engaging and affirming."

“The program feels ready-to-run. The handbooks and slides are practical, easy to use, and adaptable.”

“I loved your info-dumping style – it felt very relatable and gave permission for participants to learn in their own ND way.”.

“You come across as warm, authentic, and clearly grounded in lived experience as well as clinical knowledge.”

Hi, I'm
Chelsea Luker

I'm an Autistic and ADHD psychologist who's facilitated hundreds of conversations with Neurodivergent folk across the lifespan.

Building Your Neurodivergent Identity grew from one simple observation.

People kept believing they were the only one.

The only one struggling with masking.

The only one feeling burnt out.

The only one wondering why life seemed harder than everyone else.

Watching that shame soften in a group setting is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

That's why I'm so passionate about helping other professionals create these kinds of spaces too.

A note on sustainability (for you and your practice)

This program was designed to support your clients.

And to support you.

Running a 6-session group can:

 ✔️Diversify your income
✔️Reduce 1:1 caseload pressure
✔️Increase accessibility for clients
✔️Create something repeatable and steady in your practice

And in most cases, this training pays for itself in one group.

After that, it becomes part of your sustainable offering.

You are not rebuilding it each term.

You are refining and delivering something already structured.

You could spend months building your own program.

 Researching.

Writing.

Rewriting.

Second-guessing.

Wondering if the structure is strong enough.
Wondering if you’re holding the material safely.
Wondering if it will actually work in a group setting.

Many clinicians want to offer identity-focused groups for Autistic and ADHD clients. But designing a thoughtful program from scratch takes an enormous amount of time.

And when you’re already supporting clients, running a practice, and managing everything else…That time often just doesn’t exist.

So the idea of running groups stays an idea.

Or you could start running identity-affirming groups this term.

The Building Your Neurodivergent Identity program gives you a complete structure you can trust.

You don’t have to design the sessions.

You don’t have to invent the exercises.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone.

You walk away with:

• a structured 6-session group program
• facilitator guidance for each session
• participant exercises and reflection activities
• identity-focused teaching frameworks
• materials that support meaningful group conversations

So you can focus on what actually matters:

Holding a thoughtful, grounded, identity-affirming space for the people you support.

You may be wondering..

Is this therapy training?

No. BYNDI is a psycho-educational, identity exploration group model. It’s designed to support reflection, learning, and connection - not to deliver therapy or crisis support.

Do I need to be a psychologist to run it?

No. This training is designed for allied health therapists and helping professionals working within their scope (e.g., OT, speech pathology, counselling, social work, psychology, education with therapeutic training). You are responsible for delivering within your professional scope and registration requirements.

Is the training live?

The core training is self-paced:

3 pre-recorded modules (total 6 hours) available from 1 July 2026

Plus live support:

3 live 1-hour implementation calls: 30 July, 6 August, 13 August 2026

What if I can’t attend the live calls?

That's fine - replays are provided. You’ll still receive the full value and can submit questions ahead of time. You’ll also have access to the facilitator community and quarterly connection calls.

What do I get access to?

You’ll receive:

A complete 6-session group program structure

Facilitator manual

Participant manuals in four versions (Adults, Teens, Kids, Parents)

Editable templates (screening, consent, agreements, emails, certificates, planning tools)

Risk management + intersectional practice guidance

Community space + quarterly connection calls

Do I get a licence to use the program?

Yes. Purchase includes a facilitator licence to deliver the program in live groups (online or in-person), within the licence terms provided.

Can I adapt the program?

Yes - you can adapt language, examples, and delivery style for age, setting, and access needs. The core structure and attribution must remain intact under the licence agreement.

Can I use this inside an organisation?

Yes. If multiple staff will facilitate, use the additional facilitator option for the same organisation.

Is there a group/organisation discount?

Yes. Additional facilitators from the same organisation can be added for $349 AUD per facilitator.

Is it CPD eligible?

Many facilitators can count this towards CPD, but eligibility depends on your profession and governing body. You are responsible for confirming CPD requirements with your board/association.

Is this suitable for newly identified / late-diagnosed clients?

Yes. The program is designed to be identity-first and paced. You’ll also be guided in screening, group agreements, and boundary setting to keep it safe and contained.

Is this program suitable for people in crisis?

This is not a crisis-support model. Participants in acute crisis or requiring intensive individual therapy may need different supports. Facilitators are responsible for screening and referral pathways.

How long will I have access?

You will have lifetime access to the content, along with any future updates.

Ready to start running neurodiversity-affirming groups in your practice?

You don’t need to design another program from scratch.

You need a structure you can trust.

The Building Your Neurodivergent Identity facilitator training gives you:

  • a complete 6-session identity program

  • ready-to-use participant materials

  • step-by-step facilitator guidance

  • training to support safe and thoughtful delivery

So you can begin offering neurodiversity-affirming groups with confidence.
